A few years ago the Haidakhan Spiritual Center Vienna was founded by the wish of Shri Muniraji. In these days only a very small group of Haidakhan devotees startet singing Arti on a regular base. With the years the center grew and more and more Haidakhandis met in the temple with Haidakhandeshvari Ma Murti. In the meanwhile the Murti lives in Maha Maya Center of Consciousness in Kerala with Parvati. In deep connection and gratitude the devotees in Vienna still celebrate Artis and Pujas together in a small temple at Währingerstraße.

Mantra evenings

In many mantra evenings together, we have already experienced how the power of the sung mantra can be experienced when we have first become aware of our body and opened ourselves.

Mantra is meditation and devotion. Even in ancient times, people knew about the power of the vibration of chanting and the effect of mantras on the human mind and psyche.

There are numerous scientific studies on the effect of mantras on healing illnesses and changing brain waves. There are studies that link the vibration of mantras with the vibrations of the planets, geometric forms (the yantras) and the primary colors. I warmly invite everyone to find out for themselves how they can feel the mantras within themselves and allow them to take effect.

The mantras we sing are in Sanskrit. The language is very powerful. The names of the deities that are chanted help us to awaken certain energies, certain qualities within us - mantra chanting is not associated with any religion.
